Congrats to Latest Local 1 Certified Residential Engineer Graduates!

Congratulations to the latest Local 1 graduates who completed their Certified Residential Engineer certification this past month! 108 members total have completed this comprehensive course through the Local 1 Training Fund and are now highly qualified to provide excellent services to Chicago's residents.

ABOMA and the SEIU Local 1 Training Center have developed a program to
increase the skill level and professionalism of our building engineers. During the 12 month program, participants will be trained in the following areas:

• Cleaning Standards & Expectations
• Managing Your Maintenance Budget
• Bids & RFP’s

• 10-Hour OSHA Safety Certification
• Workplace Violence & Conflict Resolution
• Business Writing and Computer Skills
• Energy Management

Applications for the next training class are due before August 1, 2021

Classes will be held on Thursday evenings and begin in late August, 2021
